Summary
Data Engineer focused on the Microsoft SQL Server stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and Azure Data Services (ADF, Synapse, Azure DW). Builds data warehouse solutions, develops complex SQL/Stored Procedures/DAX tabular models, and works 100% remote on US Pacific time as a contractor.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-4 years
- English: minimum B2
- Strong experience within Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
- Develop complex SQL scripts, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, and Views.
- Development experience with MS SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Strong experience from Database Development, advanced concepts
- Strong experience of Data Warehouse project
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
- Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models.
- Knowledge into Azure Data Services including ADF, Synapse, Azure DW.
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
- Excellent Debugging skill and Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, virtual, global enviroment.
- Enterprise level SSAS / Tabular DAX modeling experience.
- Experience with SQL querying.
- Experienced with agile processes and methodologies
- Experience with production models & troubleshooting skills
- Ability to demonstrate understanding of business requirements & business concepts.
- Good SQL knowledge with some ETL experience
- Strong DW & BI Knowledge.

- Expected duration: 12 months minimum

Work per US calendar and PDT time zone (few exceptions can be discussed and work upon on a need basis). Individual resources can take off for any specific day with approval from their Full time Manager. Any planned leaves have to be notified a minimum four weeks in advance.
