About SCOUT Campers

SCOUT Campers is redefining how people experience, purchase, and engage with adventure vehicles and the gear that supports them. Our SCOUT Experiential Hubs bring together product discovery, retail, vehicle installation, service, education, and community in a highly curated environment built around our Camp Simple Mindset.

As SCOUT continues to expand its experiential retail footprint, we are building the financial infrastructure to support a high-quality, disciplined, and scalable retail operation.

Position Overview

The Accounting Manager / Controller is responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations and financial integrity of SCOUT’s Experiential Hubs.

This is a hands-on accounting leadership role with Controller-level responsibility. The position will own the accounting close, financial reporting, cash management, inventory accounting, accounts payable and receivable, sales tax compliance, internal controls, and financial processes supporting retail, installation, service, and product sales.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable working in the details and understanding the bigger picture. You will help ensure that SCOUT has accurate financial information, strong controls, clean processes, and the visibility needed to make smart decisions as the experiential hub model grows.

This is an opportunity to build the accounting foundation for a unique retail and experiential business—not simply maintain an existing system.

  • Maintain organized documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.

Financial Analysis & Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with the Hub General Manager and retail leadership to understand financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful KPIs for the experiential retail business.

Adventurer Manufacturing Financial Reporting

  • Once a solid, accurate, and consistent financial structure is established for the SCOUT Experiential Hubs, provide financial reporting and accounting support for Adventurer Manufacturing as needed.
  • Support consolidated and/or corporate-level financial reporting, analysis, reconciliations, and reporting requirements as the broader organization evolves.
