Activity Manager - Mars Snacking
Job Description:
The Activity Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of Mars Snacking and/or Accelerator Activities with important focus and leadership in the continuous improvement of activity management processes.
Activities include product innovation, packaging innovation, new packs & sizes, consumer franchise building (CFB), limited editions, price value (PVR), on-pack promotions, merchandising vehicles (pre-pack tools), freedom to operate initiatives, and supply led value leadership.
What are we looking for?
- 3-5 years in marketing and/or project and process management experience; candidates within project management experience within the CPG Industry preferred.
- Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening). This includes ability to give effective presentations to management.
- High levels of interpersonal skills, specifically in the area of influencing without direct authority, resolving conflict, and creative problem solving.
- Proficient in managing complex projects. Well organized, successful at prioritization, attentive to details, clear oral and written communicator.
- Resilient problem solver. Can build consensus even if all team members may not be in agreement. Can find creative solutions and common ground in order to move key initiatives forward.
- Experience in end-to-end commercialization (innovation, supply chain, go-to-market).
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Leadership through project design and execution to bring great ideas to market.
- Support in identifying and managing complexity of renovation/innovation opportunities and supply efficiencies to improve portfolio profitability.
- Risk Management: Identify and help define plan to mitigate and communicate to key stakeholders.
- Build and lead effective project teams cross-functionally and within the region.
- Engage in engage in continuous improvement and process focused initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Manage through complex projects, navigating multiple portfolios and delivering best in class execution of high visibility initiatives.
- Support Activity Management through audit processes.
- Support Activity Management tools (i.e. Clarizen, PPM, IAS).
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Responsible for following all Quality and Food Safety Policies and applicable procedures.
