Agile Project Manager

We're looking for an Agile Project Manager to join our team in London, United Kingdom, in a hybrid working mode. This role combines the servant-leadership principles of a Scrum Master with broader project management accountability within the DevSecOps DB function. You will enable effective Agile delivery, oversee key project milestones and support engineering teams in driving operational excellence and strategic programs.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
  • Drive continuous improvement through structured feedback loops and retrospectives
  • Remove obstacles hindering team progress, escalating when necessary
  • Create and maintain project timelines, tracking delivery against milestones
  • Manage and resolve project risks and issues, ensuring visibility for stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps and SRE teams to enhance delivery metrics and reporting via dashboards
  • Support the integration and optimization of CI/CD workflows and pipelines
  • Promote engineering best practices and drive initiatives improving developer experience
  • Work with teams to monitor, interpret and act on environment performance data and AWS operational metrics

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager in a technology or engineering environment
  • Demonstrated project management capability with ownership of timelines, dependencies and milestones
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Jira for backlog management and reporting
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles, cloud-native engineering and software delivery lifecycle
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices, Git workflows and release management
  • Good working knowledge of AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch and IAM

Nice to have

  • Agile certification (e.g., CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe SM, PMI-ACP; PRINCE2 Agile is a plus)
  • Experience with developer productivity tools such as BlueOptima or LinearB
  • Background in financial services or other regulated environments
  • AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate or DevOps Professional)
