Anaplan Systems Architect
You own the end-to-end Anaplan architecture, governance, and roadmap across sales compensation, headcount planning, and forecasting. You investigate data integrity issues, manage implementation partners, modernize FP&A processes, improve controls, advise finance leadership, and build and mentor a team.
Responsibilities
- Own the Anaplan strategic roadmap and architecture
- Investigate Anaplan data integrity and reconciliation issues
- Manage external consultants and implementation partners
- Translate commission plans and accounting methodologies into scalable model designs
- Modernize FP&A planning, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Improve controls before payroll processing and month-end close
- Present platform strategy and build-versus-buy recommendations
- Advise FP&A leadership on finance technology and AI-enabled tooling
- Build and mentor a team
- Manage platform governance, access, security, environments, and documentation
- Standardize and automate reporting
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building and implementing Anaplan solutions
- 3+ years in a leadership or senior individual contributor capacity
- Anaplan Certified Model Builder Level 2 or higher
- Experience designing and maintaining Anaplan models for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and sales compensation
- Strong Data Hub integration and design experience
- Experience leading finance transformation initiatives
- Experience managing external consultants and implementation partners
- Understanding of sales compensation structures, ASC 606 commission accounting, and FP&A forecasting
- Ability to resolve complex cross-system data reconciliation issues
- Familiarity with system implementation methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Workato or similar integration platforms is a plus
