Android Engineer
Develop and deliver Android features for a reader app with AI-driven audio functionality, using data analysis, product ideation, experimentation, and strong native Android engineering to improve user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Drive development of mobile features using data analysis, product ideation, and experimentation.
- Plan and deploy mobile platform infrastructure for building, testing, and deploying product experiences.
- Collaborate with design, product, and research teams to achieve product goals.
- Contribute to the architecture and technical direction of the app.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
- Evaluate and implement technologies that improve development efficiency.
Requirements
- Have shipped Android features that optimize user experiences and drive engagement.
- Have experience designing and implementing A/B tests using a scientific, data-based approach.
- Have a strong background and proven track record in native Android development.
- Be able to operate between GMT-5 and GMT+1 time zones.
- Be analytical, efficient, autonomous, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Have a strong desire to learn and share knowledge clearly.
