- Creating detailed architectural drawings and plans based on specifications from architects or engineersUsing computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software to produce accurate blueprints

- Checking drawings for accuracy, compliance with building codes, and adherence to project requirements
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure project accuracy and feasibility
- Visiting construction sites to verify that work aligns with plans and to gather research for designs
- Preparing colored drawings, scale models, or presentations for clients
