Area Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities:
Lead all maintenance activities for the Mixed Feed Cracker (MFC)/Steam Cracker area, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations in accordance with company standards.
Manage mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and rotating equipment maintenance for Cracker units, including preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance.
Ensure effective execution and reporting of maintenance activities through the CMMS system.
Support Planning & Scheduling and Reliability teams in maintenance optimization, bad actor analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives.
Lead maintenance planning and execution during turnarounds, major shutdowns, and emergency maintenance.
Manage day-to-day maintenance teams and contractors while ensuring compliance with all HSE requirements.
Prepare weekly maintenance reports and participate in maintenance review meetings.
Develop team capability through technical coaching and job-specific training in coordination with HR.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years' experience in oil & gas / petrochemical maintenance – diploma.
- Minimum 20 years' experience in oil & gas / petrochemical maintenance – high school.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in oil & gas / petrochemical maintenance – bachelor degree.
- Mandatory hands-on maintenance experience in Ethylene Cracker/MFC units. Candidates without Cracker maintenance experience will not be considered.
- Strong knowledge of gas turbines, compressors, pumps, furnaces, heat exchangers, boilers, columns, piping systems, and critical rotating equipment used in Cracker plants.
- Proven experience managing plant turnarounds, shutdowns, maintenance contracts, and reliability improvement programs.
- Strong knowledge of CMMS, maintenance planning, RBI, RCA, and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to deliver business results while working in a multicultural environment.
