Area Manager
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Carries responsibility for achieving the region’s sales objectives in terms of sales volume, value and gross profit margin.
- Set and direct the general company’s commercial strategies covering business development in sales and market share for Aman.
- Responsible for seeking sales opportunities and forecast to ensure profit growth and the expansion of Aman.
- Carries responsibility for organizing and planning the assigned area's sales targets, point of sale (number of branches), coverage and routing and ensuring resources are efficiently and effectively utilized.
- Carries responsibility for building and maintaining long term relationships with key customers in the market.
- Obtains market intelligence information and maintains knowledge of competitors’ activities.
- Ensures that accurate and updated customer records are maintained.
- Monitors customer payments, ensuring that all accounts are settled in accordance to the agreed terms and conditions, on a regular basis.
- Ensures that reporting systems are fully implemented by the sales force and reports are provided to the management on time.
- Reviews and analyzes sales reports (based on handheld devices) to develop or improve potential areas.
- Prepares proposals and demand forecasts (on a quarterly basis) to the Senior Commercial Director on the development and/or corrective actions based on sales reports on potential areas.
Skills description
What will you need?
- Educational background: University graduate from any discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in sales.

- Excellent knowledge of the different selling techniques
- Very good knowledge of all the products' features
- Very good knowledge about competitors in the market

- High level understanding of top management's goals (to be able to effectively communicate them to sales supervisors)
