YOUR ROLE

You are part of the Assembly Operations team, supporting both manufacturing and maintenance activities to ensure excellent performance in quality, cost, and delivery.

You play a critical role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and reliable manufacturing processes through production planning, equipment maintenance, and optimization of assembly production equipment. This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise, leadership, and proactive maintenance management skills to minimize downtime and support production targets.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage both manufacturing and maintenance activities for the assembly line, including equipment and machinery in the Back-End Manufacturing (BEM) assembly process.
  • Oversee daily assembly production operations to meet output, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
  • Lead production and maintenance teams, including staffing, training, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as OEE, MTBI, productivity, scrap, downtime, and equipment availability.
  • Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental standards, and company procedures.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance plans with engineering and production teams.
  • Support capacity planning, line balancing, and problem-solving for operational issues.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for production losses and equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and automation issues on assembly lines.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve process efficiency.
  • Manage maintenance team activities, provide technical guidance, and ensure safety compliance.
  • Analyze equipment failure data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Plan and oversee the installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment or upgrades.
  • Lead cost-saving projects to achieve annual savings targets.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in semiconductor or electronics assembly operations. Experience in Back-End Manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems used in assembly lines.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment.
  • Experience with PLC programming and control systems.
  • Knowledge of robotics and vision inspection systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
  • Experience in equipment calibration and validation.
  • Knowledge of spare parts management and inventory control.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in manufacturing environments.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) regulations.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and continuous improvement mindset.
