Assistant Branch Manager

About the Role:

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you'll be more than an operations coordinator-you'll be a trusted leader and problem-solver who ensures the branch runs smoothly and members feel valued. You'll partner with the Branch Manager to guide your team, deliver exceptional service, and help members achieve their financial goals. When the Branch Manager is away, you'll step up and take the lead.

What You'll Do:

  • Be a Leader: Support and coach your team to deliver outstanding service and meet branch goals. Step in as acting Branch Manager when needed.
  • Create Member Success: Help members open accounts, apply for loans, and find solutions that fit their lives. Build relationships that last.
  • Drive Growth: Promote products and services that make a difference for members. Lead outreach efforts and sales campaigns to meet goals.
  • Keep Things Running: Oversee daily operations, cash management, and compliance to ensure everything is secure and efficient.
  • Solve Problems: Research and resolve member inquiries with care and professionalism. Turn challenges into opportunities to strengthen trust.
  • Collaborate & Connect: Work with other departments, participate in community events, and represent the Credit Union with pride.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
  • 3+ years in branch operations (teller or member service experience a plus).
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a willingness to promote products and services.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and travel locally as needed.
