Job description

  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts and personal files.
  • Support payroll processing by verifying attendance, overtime, and leave records.
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor laws and Swissôtel policies in personnel matters.
  • Monitor employee attendance, leave requests, and punctuality, addressing discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance and social security.
  • Help prepare periodic reports on personnel data, such as turnover, attendance, and benefits usage.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to contracts, benefits, and employment policies.
  • Collaborate with the Personnel Manager to support recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Facilitate the collection and documentation of legal requirements for local and expatriate employees.
  • Support audits by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of personnel files and records.
  • Assist with offboarding processes, including exit interviews and final settlements.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and update the personnel database for quick and accurate access to employee information.
  • Support the implementation of disciplinary actions and ensure proper documentation.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on labor law compliance and personnel policies.
  • Assist in organizing training sessions related to compliance and workplace policies.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all personnel records and sensitive information.
  • Collaborate on initiatives to improve the efficiency of personnel operations and workflows.
  • Monitor and report any potential risks related to labor law or personnel practices.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and the Personnel Manager to maintain a harmonious work environment.

Qualifications

  • Hospitality industry experience, particularly in hotel or resort operations
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and talent management platforms
  • Demonstrated success implementing organizational change initiatives and process improvements

Additional information

  • Experience is an asset
  • Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
