Airshare is seeking a self-motivated candidate who can help us achieve our goals of managing a high-volume of agreement negotiations, overseeing litigation management and related legal matters, providing legal guidance on data privacy and other emerging technology issues and assisting in the day-to-day approval process for contracts and other legal matters. The successful candidate will be an engaged and resourceful self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and excellent at building strong relationships. The role is based at Airshare’s Corporate Headquarters in Overland Park, KS (on-site; not remote or hybrid).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Develop a detailed understanding of Airshare’s service lines and aircraft and their associated risks
  • Negotiate various vendor agreements with an understanding of how the vendor will support Airshare’s business and the risks associated with the vendor’s services or products
  • Manage all phases of litigation and dispute resolution matters, including case strategy, risk assessment, budget oversight, and coordination with internal stakeholders, while directing and evaluating outside counsel to ensure high-quality legal representation, cost-effective case management and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Draft and negotiate professional services and technology-related agreements, including master services agreements, engagement letters, confidentiality agreements, business associate agreements, SaaS agreements, data protection agreements, software licenses, subcontractor agreements, government contracts, and related statements of work
  • Lead the organization’s data privacy and cybersecurity compliance efforts by advising on applicable laws and regulations, managing privacy-related risks, and evaluating emerging legal technologies, including artificial intelligence and automation tools, to ensure responsible adoption, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness
  • Evaluate and improve contracting process activities, leveraging technology to create efficiency.
  • Performs other duties and assignments, as required
