Assistant Manager, Client Services
A Day in the Life:
Lead and oversee the project team in the implementation of events and projects on-site.
Manage client relationships from project conceptualisation, planning, execution, and post-project evaluation.
Manage clients' expectations and provide professional advice to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Service and grow existing client accounts by understanding their business needs while ensuring effective cost management.
Attend industry events and exhibitions to keep abreast of market trends and identify business opportunities.
Review and approve requests for client payments and supplier invoices in accordance with company procedures.
Lead project briefings with designers to communicate clients' requirements and project specifications.
Coordinate and manage suppliers to ensure all event and project requirements are fulfilled.
Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
Coordinate storage arrangements and logistics with clients where required.
Oversee on-site operations to ensure supplier deliveries, installations, and build works are carried out according to project requirements, specifications, quality, and timelines.
Review and prepare project costing reports for management approval.
Monitor and manage the overall project budget and profitability to achieve targeted gross profit margins.
Prepare and present project reports upon completion, including project outcomes and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Liaise with venue owners regarding venue requirements, operational matters, and any damage arising from project activities.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior Client Services team members where required.
What We are Looking For:
Degree / Diploma in Hospitality / Tourism Management or equivalent
Minimum 3 to 4 years' of experience in account servicing
Minimum 3 to 4 years' experience in exhibition industry
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Well-versed in Microsoft Word / Excel / Project
