The Dean of Students Office (DSTO) is an education unit. Our goal is to facilitate and support all students in advancing their education to live a meaningful and fulfilling life, contributing to the community in whatever way that fits them. DSTO staff are expected to possess the mindset of an educator, catering to student needs and nurturing them to achieve their personal goal within the society and the global community.

The Assistant Manager (Special Projects) reports to the Head (Administration) or her designee, with key responsibilities in assisting the Manager (Special Projects) in extending care to students in need, conducting mediation, and contributing to ad hoc projects and events. Duties also include: support the handling of case information in line with University policies, the department's general administration, secretariat work for committees and other matters assigned by the Head (Administration).

Applicants should have a recognized degree and experience in case & emergencies handling, health & wellness education, and with a customer service approach. Candidates should be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua), possess a growth mindset, and actively explore new technologies to increase productivity. They are also expected to be proactive, detailed-minded, solution-focused, and able to multitask; and work independently in a dynamic working environment. Working outside regular office hours is sometimes required. (Duration: 2 years)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
