The Dean of Students Office (DSTO) is committed to supporting students throughout their educational journey, helping them lead meaningful and fulfilling lives while contributing to the community. DSTO staff are expected to adopt an educator's mindset, addressing student needs and nurturing their personal goals within both society and the global community.

Reporting to the Head of Student Support & Activities in the Dean of Students' Office, the appointee will be responsible for:

  • Guiding student groups in strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and activity execution
  • Planning, implementing and evaluating student leadership programs
  • Liaising with internal and external parties for student services and programs
  • Occasionally working outside regular office hours, such as evenings and weekends
  • Undertaking other duties as assigned by the Head

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification work experience
  • Preference for candidates with experience in student development in the tertiary education sector
  • Strong team player who can work independently and proactively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; graphic design skills are a plus
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for written and IT tests. Candidates who have completed the tests for the same post within the past 12 months may be exempted.
  • The position may require working irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.

(Duration: 2 years)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, including annual leave, medical, and dental benefits, will be provided, along with a gratuity payable upon successful completion of the contract.
