Assistant Sales Program Executive / Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in handling customer enquiries and follow up on customer requirements.
- Support preparation of quotations, cost surveys and commercial proposals.
- Assist in gathering product specifications, pricing and delivery lead times from suppliers.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, procurement, engineering, production and logistics teams to support smooth order processing.
- Assist in monitoring sales programs and project progress, including schedules, delivery status and outstanding actions.
- Follow up with suppliers and internal departments on order status and delivery schedules.
- Assist in coordinating site inspections, equipment installation, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
- Support customer meetings and site visits to understand customer requirements.
- Assist in identifying customer needs, market information and potential new business opportunities.
- Provide support for after-sales activities, including customer enquiries, service requests and issue follow-up.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, customer enquiries, orders and project progress.
- Prepare sales and project/program progress reports for management.
- Perform other sales and program coordination duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with internship or 1–2 years of experience in semiconductor equipment, mechanical engineering, engineering sales, project coordination or related industries will have an advantage.
- Experience with semiconductor equipment, machining, gas delivery systems or capital equipment is an added advantage.
- Candidates with exposure to a leading global semiconductor equipment manufacturer or semiconductor capital equipment company will be highly preferred.
- Strong interest in technical sales, customer service and project/program coordination.
- Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized and strong in follow-up.
- Able to work effectively with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
- Willing to learn and develop technical and commercial knowledge.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are required. Proficiency in additional languages would be an advantage, particularly to facilitate effective communication with China-based customers, suppliers and business counterparts.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Willing to work at Changi North Crescent and travel to customer sites when required.
