ABOUT THIS ROLE
Apex's SHARK early career program for new grads who refuse to settle for ordinary.
SHARKS are Strategic. High-achieving. Always Reimagining Key Solutions. They're hungry to solve problems in their path.
This isn't a rotational program where you shadow and observe. You're a full-time employee from day one, owning real business strategy work and driving AI & data-powered innovation in fintech.
As a Business SHARK, you'll join a cohort of new grads on a year-long journey built to fast-track you from talented graduate to fintech business leaders. SHARKs go through intensive training, mentorship, and high-visibility projects.
The basics: Begins July 2027 | In-office 4 days/week in Austin, Dallas, New York, or Chicago (Relocation Assistance Available)
What to Expect
Kick off with a 6-week immersive onboarding (business analytics training, fintech fundamentals, and Apex culture)
Use AI and automation to turn data into insights and streamline how the business runs
Join your home team as a core contributor, owning projects that impact operational efficiency and strategic decisions
Lead strategic initiatives across process optimization, financial modeling, and client data analysis
Build your portfolio through business innovation challenges and competitive analysis projects
Get continuous mentorship from SHARKs who've swam the same seas

What We're Looking For
Available to start July 2027 alongside your SHARK cohort
Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data/Business Analytics, Marketing, Operations, Information Technology, or related field
Typically 3.0+ GPA (exceptional candidates with strong leadership encouraged to apply). Transcript required in the application.
Demonstrated leadership through internships, business projects, or campus involvement
Strong problem-solver who thrives in business ambiguity and complex operational challenges
Strong communicator who can influence at all levels and present to executive stakeholders
Genuine curiosity about fintech, stock market, and financial markets
Eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship

Salary Range
$60,000-$75,000The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
