Associate : Corporate Sales, Markets & Securities Services, HSBC Korea
HSBC’s Markets & Securities Services is responsible for the provision of multi-product coverage of Korea and international Corporate clients including local large corporates, sovereign, multi-national clients and medium-cap corporates across multiple products.
Taking on the role of Associate Corporate Sales with a cross-asset focus, you will support corporate clients with origination, structuring and execution of risk management and financing solutions. Working closely with our senior sales, structuring and trading teams, you will help deliver FX, rates nd balance sheet solutions tailored to clients’ treasury objectives, including hedging, funding, liquidity and cross-border risk management. As part of a small team, there is the opportunity for exposure to a broad variety of work, covering the entire corporate spectrum of clients in Australia, whilst still being part of a truly global bank with a strong global reputation.

Job Description
- Lead to identify sales opportunities that address specific needs for our clients and managing from identification to point of sale and through post trade process
- Support and manage relationships with various corporate clients including Local Large Corporates, Multi-national Corporations, and medium-cap clients
- Provide day-to-day sales coverage using the full suite of Corporate Sales offerings and support team members to do the same, which is not limited to price quotations to target clients through distribution of bank’s products in FX, Option and Rates derivatives, and also contribute to solidify the bank’s position as a market leader in Korea
- Manage and develop relationships with Strategic and/or Focus clients, including Transactional clients, including those serviced over e-platforms for flow-based business.
- Deliver services and solutions that meet client needs and where necessary leverage the bank’s depth of product expertise
- Identify and originate cross-asset and outbound opportunities
- Contribute to team development, effectiveness and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse, and supportive working environment.
- Assist clients in effectively communicating their banking/investment requirements to internal stakeholders including Trading, Operations, Relationship Managers, and other product partners etc.
Qualifications
- Certified Derivatives Investment Advisor is highly preferred
- Experience with Corporate clients (including not limited to local large corporates and multi-national clients) and progressive Sales/Marketing experience in banking industry are preferred
- Strong understanding of the overall Markets business and related products, clients demand, cash management business, and key progress on pertinent regulation and/or industry frameworks.
- Clear, concise presentation and communication skills are mandatory
- Require working as a team in a collaborative and adaptable manner
- Fluent in English and Korean (verbally and written)
