What You’ll Do
As a School-Based Autistic Emotional Support Facilitator, you will work closely with students, teachers, and school teams to support positive behavior, student engagement, and classroom success.
Responsibilities include:
Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support during classroom activities
Implement behavior support and intervention plans
Utilize de-escalation and positive behavior support strategies
Collect behavioral and progress-monitoring data
Promote a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
Support students across classroom, lunch, recess, and transitional settings
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and multidisciplinary school teams
Encourage student participation, independence, and social-emotional growth
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), emotional support needs, or developmental disabilities required
Associate degree or college coursework in education, psychology, behavioral health, or related field preferred
RBT certification preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and behavioral support skills
Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented mindset
