Automation Test Engineer
You will test new features for web and mobile applications, validate UI and user flows, write and execute automated test scripts, and perform API testing. You will log and track defects, design and run test cases and regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers and designers. You may perform performance and security testing as needed and occasionally travel to Hong Kong for meetings.
Responsibilities
- Test web and mobile applications manually
- Design and execute automated test scripts
- Perform API testing
- Log and track defects using JIRA
- Design and execute test cases and regression suites
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with developers, product managers and designers
- Perform performance and security testing as needed
Requirements
- Experience in manual and automated testing
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, test case design and defect tracking
- Experience with UI/UX testing for web and mobile applications
- Proficiency with Selenium, Cypress or Appium
- Experience with API testing using Postman or RestAssured
- Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and integrating tests into pipelines
- Good English communication skills
- Reside in Shenzhen or nearby and able to travel to Hong Kong as needed
- Performance testing and security testing experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with Python, Java or JavaScript for test automation (preferred)
- Experience working with remote or cross-timezone teams (preferred)
