About the Company:
Our client is a respected technology consultancy delivering transformative Microsoft cloud solutions to organisations across New Zealand. With a strong pipeline of Azure-focused initiatives and growing client demand, they are looking to engage an experienced Azure Solutions Architect to help lead the successful delivery of key projects through to the end of the year.

Working across multiple client environments, you'll have the opportunity to influence cloud strategy, shape modern architectures, and deliver tangible business outcomes while partnering with both technical and executive stakeholders.

What you'll lead & influence:

• Lead the architecture, design and delivery of Azure-based solutions across multiple client projects
• Drive on-premises to Azure migration programmes
• Design and implement Azure Landing Zones aligned with Microsoft best practices
• Support digital transformation initiatives, helping clients modernise their technology platforms
• Provide strategic guidance on Azure governance, security, networking and operational excellence
• Engage with technical teams, project stakeholders and business leaders to translate requirements into practical solutions
• Identify opportunities to leverage Microsoft funding and incentive programmes to support client outcomes
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing architectural direction and technical leadership throughout project lifecycles

What you bring:

• Proven experience as an Azure Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect, or similar senior consulting role
• Strong track record delivering Azure migration and transformation projects
• Experience designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones
• Broad knowledge of Azure services, architecture patterns, governance and cloud best practices
• Ability to confidently engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience leading client-facing engagements and managing competing priorities
• Understanding of Microsoft funding and incentive programmes is highly regarded
• Strong consulting, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Azure certifications will be advantageous

Deep software development experience is not essential; however, a strong understanding of the Azure ecosystem and how modern cloud platforms support business outcomes is important.
