Job Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Manager based in Vietnam to lead and scale our customers logistics operations across the APAC region. This role will serve as the regional logistics lead for the customers new Contract Manufacturer (CM) in Vietnam and manage end-to-end logistics activities from production to customer delivery across channels: retail, distributor, B2B and D2C.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role focused on operational excellence, cost optimization, and the successful execution of supply chain strategies in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description
Own all logistics operations out of Vietnam, including day-to-day execution, process development, and long-term planning for the region.
Act as the primary logistics lead for the Vietnam-based Contract Manufacturer, ensuring alignment across production, shipping, and readiness for product launches.
Lead the onboarding and operational readiness of new retailers, distributors, and 3PLs across APAC, ensuring compliance and optimal service levels.
Manage relationships with local 3PLs and freight forwarders, driving performance, cost efficiency, and SLA adherence across outbound and reverse logistics flows.
Partner with global teams (SDM, Sales, finance, compliance, IT) to ensure smooth integration of Vietnam operations into our global supply chain.
Oversee logistics documentation, order fulfillment accuracy, and routing compliance for all shipments out of Vietnam.
Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations, including
automation opportunities and scalability for future growth.
Support the integration of logistics systems (e.g. NetSuite) between the CM, 3PLs, and the customers internal platforms.
Act as the regional point of contact for issue resolution, escalations, and strategic alignment across cross-functional teams.
Develop and monitor key metrics and KPIs to track logistics performance and report regularly to global operations leadership.
Support return logistics from APAC customers and partners by coordinating reverse flows with 3PLs and ensuring alignment with global returns processes.
Required Qualifications
7+ years experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations (ideally in a consumer electronics, health tech, or FMCG environment).
Experience working directly with Contract Manufacturers and/or 3PLs in APAC.
Strong understanding of international shipping processes, Incoterms, and customs documentation.
Fluency in Vietnamese and professional proficiency in English.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Ability to work independently while coordinating with remote and global teams.
Comfort with tools such as Excel, ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite), and shipment tracking platforms.
