Summary
We are actively seeking a motivated Back-end Developer to enhance our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a team player who works well with others but is also able to work independently. You excel at creating and improving scalable services in line with innovations.
As a Back-end Developer, your role could include building services, REST APIs, and state aware workflows largely in cloud environments. We love collaborating with teammates on new app designs, partnering with front-end developers, Quality Analysts, Business Analysts, and other team members to combine work into a cohesive product, and improving existing services.
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the RoleDevelop and maintain applications using cloud architecture working in Jira and GitAbility to build from user stories and be active in technical designBuild efficient, scalable, secure, and observable applicationsAble to take and give feedback in team meetings and code reviewBuild and maintain highly scalable services and workflowsBe proactive and responsive in addressing technical issues
Must Have Skills / Requirements5+ years’ Experience designing and building backend services for workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal, including workflow execution, state management, task routing, observability, and operational automation.5+ years’ experience/understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application5+ years’ experience with Rust as a primary language and one or more of the following: Node, C#, Python + Understanding of SQL and document database developmentGreat communication skillsAbility to translate technology requirements to internal stakeholders.Experience designing and building backend services for workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal, including workflow execution, state management, task routing, observability, and operational automation.Capable of self-deployments in a well-defined container pipelineFirm understanding of cloud infrastructureUnderstanding of SQL and document database development
Nice to Have Skills / Preferred RequirementsBA/BS preferred.Background in Media workflows.
