Backend Engineer Integrations and APIs
You will own the layer between core infrastructure and external users, including public APIs, indexing, data pipelines, and developer-facing services. You will design JSON-RPC endpoints, build transaction status tracking and query backends, develop analytics and observability pipelines, and harden services for production through integrations and load testing.
Responsibilities
- Design and build JSON-RPC endpoints for transaction submission, status queries, and account state
- Own transaction lifecycle status tracking, error reporting, and timeout handling
- Build the indexer and query backend for the block explorer, partner integrations, and historical state queries
- Build analytics pipelines and implement metrics and event logging
- Work across service boundaries to understand component behavior
- Harden APIs, build partner integrations, and perform load testing
Requirements
- Strong systems or backend programming experience in Rust, C++, or both
- Proven experience designing and building robust RPC or API services for high-scale traffic
- Deep understanding of database architecture, indexing, and query patterns
- Experience owning production infrastructure
