Backend Engineer
You build scalable backend systems that process, store, and serve large data streams. You develop secure smart contracts, authenticate on-chain and off-chain data, optimize storage, create indexing services and distributed recommendation algorithms, and expose results through external APIs.
Responsibilities
- Write extensible and secure smart contracts
- Track the latest EIPs
- Extract and cryptographically authenticate on-chain and off-chain data streams
- Transform data streams into optimized storage solutions
- Develop scalable indexing services for compute clusters
- Implement distributed algorithms for recommendation and reputation scores
- Develop external APIs for third-party applications
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in backend systems
- Experience with smart contract development
- Solidity as a primary language
- Proficiency in two or more of Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python
- Experience with REST APIs or RPCs
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud infrastructure services
- Open-source project experience preferred
