Backend engineer - Layer 2 DeFi

The company is a money-market, borrowing and lending protocol built on zk-rollup scalability, superior transaction speed, and cost-savings with Ethereums security.

The team has extensive experience in traditional finance , startups, as well as leading DeFi protocols and well funded by top VCs in the space.

Responsibility

Looking for backend developers to join the team and help build out the projects infrastructure. At its core, you will be responsible for building some of the key components of the protocol including back-end smart contract development and touching upon front end. The position will report into the Tech Lead and will work closely with other Software Engineers, the Product Manager, as well as the Business team.

Requirements

• 0-5 years of work experience as a developer

• Professional Rust/C++ experience strongly preferred

• Languages

  • Must: TypeScript (with Node.js), React

• Must: Docker, Serverless Computing (Cloudflare Workers in particular)

• Bonus: CI/CD

• Open-source contributions a huge PLUS

• Interest in blockchain, DeFi and Web 3, prior knowledge preferred but not required
