About the role
CorenetX is an integrated web portal for Singapore's Built Environment sector, enabling architects and engineers to submit building plans for regulatory approval. As part of this process, 3D building models in the IFC format are uploaded and routed to the relevant government agencies for automated and manual checking against building regulations.
We are developing the automated regulatory checking system that will ensure that these models meet Singapore's building regulations across architectural, mechanical and electrical, and civil and structural disciplines.
You will be joining a small, cross-functional product team and working closely with backend engineers, product managers, and domain experts to bring this automated regulatory checking system to agency and industry users.
What you will be working on
- Build and maintaining Python backend application to receive and process IFC files
- Build AI-powered development pipelines to implement 3D building model checks; reviewing, auditing and refactoring AI-generated code in the process
- Deploying of application on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
- Building CI/CD pipelines on GitLab
What we are looking for
- Strong proficiency in Python and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with AI-powered development pipelines
- Familiarity with AWS services and IaC tools such as Terraform
- Familiarity with DevOps best practices and building CI/CD pipelines on platforms such as GitLab
- Understanding of or willingness to learn Building Information Modeling (BIM) concepts and IFC standards
- Knowledge of computational geometry is a plus
