Backend Intern

Responsibilities

Build and maintain server-side APIs and services in a production codebase.
Work with databases: writing queries, designing schemas, and optimizing performance.
Integrate third-party services and handle authentication, data flow, and error handling.
Write tests and help debug issues across the backend stack.
Collaborate with senior engineers on code reviews and feature delivery.
Learn from a solid, strong engineering team and grow through hands-on mentorship.
Work in the fintech field to gain real experience and a deep understanding of the domain.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL.
Solid understanding of relational databases and database performance tuning.
