Role purpose
To read, analyze and digest what a business wants to accomplish with its data, and design the best possible ETL process and use it to design and create the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation, and load of data functions in the company.
Role profile
- Ensure accurate and on-time project delivery.
- Ensure a complete technical planned handover, and fully delivered documentation and technical manuals of new applications and services.
- Optimize resource utilization for created jobs.
- Effectively support different company departments to achieve their goals by providing all needed information.
- Apply unified interfaces to all channels.
- Participate in review and enhancement of company IT processes with other cross-functional departments.
- Responsible for technical leadership and on-the-job training of newcomers.
Competencies and qualifications
- 0-2 years’ experience in BI domain.
- Good knowledge of BI analytical and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical thinking.
- Problem solving and decision making.
- Very good knowledge of PL/SQL and UNIX shell scripting.
- Proven experience in applying modifications and enhancements to current application designs.
- Must have technical or professional qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Engineering - Communication or Computer Science.
- Master’s degree in BI-related fields is a plus.
- Experience in business intelligence field and tools.
- Certificates in BI-related fields are a plus.
