Key accountabilities & decision ownership
- Handle one or more squads with different skillsets and different agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
- Work closely with BICC squads Product Owner to achieve finance strategy and goals.
- Use agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
- Ensure stories are updated with needed info to be able to measure the needed metrics.
- Ensure that squads deliver their objectives and strategy through both Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Manage the flow (streamline the delivery process) and remove bottlenecks.
- Ensure agile ceremonies are done by scheduling and facilitating agile events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
- Remove barriers that prevent Product Owners and squads from achieving their goals.
- Define, monitor, and enhance agile delivery measures and KPIs (productivity, utilization, quality, predictability, etc.) to help the team to make improvements.
- Support squad logistics by following up the vacancies with Technology leads to onboard squad members, spot the needed squad requirements and skills, and ensure squad members are trained.
- Train, mentor, and support development teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.
- Build and automate agile reporting, dashboards, metrics, and KPIs to measure squads’ delivery to be reviewed (monthly and quarterly) by management and squads to spot the needed squad requirements and skills.
- Track project processes and deliverables.
- Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders.
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.
- Certified Scrum Master; SAFe certification is preferred.
- Working experience with Jira is a must.
- Experience in BI, Finance, or IT systems is preferred.
- Leadership and management experience.
- Excellent people and project management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
