  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies aligned with business objectives.

Shape Market and Trading Opportunities

  • Monitor market developments, customer needs, and supply-demand dynamics.

  • Partner closely with the trading team to maximize value and execute the most effective sales strategies.

  • Support deal origination and communicate market insights that drive commercial decisions.

  • Promote and leverage contract optionality to create value for customers and Shell.

Manage Supply Chain and Operations

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the supply chain to ensure reliable product delivery.

  • Collaborate with Trading Operations and commercial teams to optimize overall business performance.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of logistics, infrastructure, pricing, market trends, and competitor activity.

Lead PMB Plant Contract Management

  • Negotiate and manage agreements with third-party bitumen production facilities (PMB plants).

  • Identify opportunities for new products and solutions that meet customer needs while delivering profitable growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in sales, business development, trading, marketing, or commercial roles.

  • Proven ability to identify opportunities, build relationships, and deliver commercial results.

  • Strong analytical, financial, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo and explore new opportunities.

  • Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • Interest in developing a long-term career within commercial, trading, or supply businesses.

Travel Requirements

This role requires regular travel across Germany, Austria, and Denmark, including visits to customer sites, procurement offices, and asphalt production facilities. Travel of up to four days per week should be expected.
