Blockchain Developer - Golang
You will develop blockchain software in Go, implement AWS containers, maintain repositories, build REST APIs, and structure React interfaces for enterprise finance customers. You will contribute to open-source projects, work with cloud technologies, write unit tests and documentation, debug and optimize code, develop proofs of concept, and participate in technical customer and vendor discussions.
Responsibilities
- Implement AWS containers for Go applications
- Maintain repositories
- Structure user interfaces with React
- Provide REST API access for enterprise finance customers
- Contribute to open-source Go and React projects
- Build RESTful APIs
- Work with teams across time zones and cultures
- Write and document code
- Design and architect applications
- Write unit tests and debug code
- Optimize software security and reliability
- Develop proofs of concept
- Participate in client and vendor technical discussions
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience, including 3–4 years of Golang experience
- Blockchain experience
- Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
- Knowledge of goroutine and channel patterns
- Knowledge of distributed systems architecture
- Knowledge of package management tools such as Glide
- Experience with latency and fault-tolerant tools such as Go-Hystrix
- Ability to write effective Godoc comments
- Familiarity with Git
- Experience with unit testing, test coverage, and best practices
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud Platform
- Experience developing proofs of concept
- Agile methodology knowledge
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or software engineering
- 5+ years of blockchain and Golang experience
- Financial software domain knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication
