Blockchain Security Engineer
You will audit and review smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and decentralized applications to identify and remediate vulnerabilities. You will conduct guided security research, investigate attack vectors, contribute to internal security tools and frameworks, and improve security processes, methodologies, and client service offerings.
Responsibilities
- Audit and review codebases for smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and decentralized applications to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
- Conduct guided security research and explore new attack vectors
- Deliver actionable security insights
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of internal security tools and frameworks
- Improve internal processes, methodologies, and service offerings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Security
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with blockchain technologies
- Experience with smart contracts, including EVM chains, Solana, and Move
- Experience with blockchain protocols, nodes, SDKs, and Cosmos
- Experience in threat modeling, risk assessment, and security analysis
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Rust, Go, Solidity, or Python
- Passion for cryptocurrency, DeFi, and blockchain technologies
- Academic or practical background in Mathematics, Cryptography, or Cybersecurity
- Experience conducting audits and collaborating with Web3 protocols
- Recognized achievements such as published CVEs or strong placements in attackathons, bug bounties, or audit contests
