Business Analyst cum Developer (Jira)

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Application Ownership:

• Sole Support Engineer for a custom Jira Data Center application

• Manage the full Operations and Maintenance lifecycle from day-to-day service ticketing management to troubleshooting scripts and deployment planning

Technical Operations:

• Administer Jira Data Center Infrastructure including upgrades, configuration, and plugin management (ScriptRunner/Groovy Language)

• Maintain SSL/HTTPS infrastructure and led migration transitions where necessary

• Debug and maintain REST API integrations between Jira and external systems

• Resolve database-level issues including idling connection management and performance tuning

Product & Systems:

• Understand the comprehensive Jira Data Center product and quick to recommend solutions whenever prompted.

• Have experience in engaging in requirements gathering and business analysis skillsets, to turn requirements into features

• Configure Jira Plans (Advanced Roadmaps) and resolve cross-project dependency gaps within Jira Data Center

Support & Stakeholder Management:

• Own the SLA Compliance and management, ticket triage, and resolution across all severity tiers

• Serve as primary POC between engineer team and business stakeholders

• Experience in stakeholder management is necessary
