Business Analyst - Data Products

We're seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join a major bank. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and QA to define, prioritise, and deliver robust integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive cross-functional engagement with senior stakeholders and Data Product Owners to define strategic data requirements. Translate business objectives into data definitions, data models, and governance frameworks. Communicate complex business and data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Maintain an end-to-end perspective on data flows, dependencies, and impacts across systems, products, and business processes. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as part of a global team. Apply prompt engineering techniques effectively to enhance business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, and stakeholder communication. Demonstrate data analysis skills with the ability to analyze, interpret, and derive insights from datasets using Excel or other data analysis tools such as SQL and Power BI. Possess proven experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry, with a strong understanding of financial products, business processes, regulatory requirements, and data domains.

SKILLS

Must have

• Master's degree in business administration, computer science, or equivalent experience, and at least 7 years of experience working in a similar position Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with a strong focus on data domain(Strategy, Frameworks and Controls). Good understanding of data quality principles. Relational and dimensional data modelling and data governance. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, able to work independently and collaboratively with other teams. Fluent in English with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms Strategic thinking with the ability to maintain a holistic, end-to-end view of data ecosystems.
