Business Analyst - Risk and Compliance

About the Role

We're looking for a Business Analyst to help interpret new scam prevention regulations and turn them into practical business requirements. You'll work with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations and Technology teams to understand regulatory changes, assess business impacts, and support the implementation of a major regulatory compliance program.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse new regulations, industry guidance and consultation papers to identify business impacts.
• Engage with internal stakeholders and industry groups to understand emerging requirements and best practices.
• Facilitate workshops and gather business and regulatory requirements.
• Translate regulatory obligations into business requirements, processes, controls and implementation activities.
• Document current and future state processes and maintain traceability between requirements and delivery outcomes.
• Support implementation planning, governance reporting, risk management and compliance readiness activities.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory expectations.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on regulatory, transformation or process improvement programs.
• Strong process mapping, requirements gathering and workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to understand complex regulations and convert them into practical business outcomes.
• Experience working with Risk, Compliance, Legal or Regulatory stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
