Business Analyst/Technical Writer
Salary: Provision to work from home - 2 days p.w.
This is a hands-on role focused on improving and maintaining Works Delivery and Asset Management platforms, while supporting the business to define future system enhancements and requirements. You will work closely with operational stakeholders and technical delivery teams to translate complex processes into clear documentation, requirements and actionable user stories.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review and develop user guides, manuals, process maps, work instructions and training materials.
- Analyse and document processes across Works Delivery, Maintenance, Asset Management and Finance.
- Engage stakeholders to identify improvements and define future product requirements.
- Develop business and functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and process models.
- Partner with technical teams to clarify requirements and support successful delivery.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across system, process and operational documentation.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Writer or similar.
- Strong technical writing, requirements documentation and process modelling skills.
- Experience working between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
- Background in Utilities, Energy, Resources or another asset-intensive environment.
- Experience with Asset Management, Maintenance or Works Delivery processes and enterprise work management systems.
- Experience with Ellipse, Maximo, SAP PM, Azure DevOps, BPMN or Visio would be highly regarded.
- Agile, hybrid delivery and/or Product Owner experience is desirable.
