Business Analyst | 12-Month Contract

Location: ChangiBusiness Park, Singapore
Salary: Up to SGD 4,500/month

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support project delivery and business transformation initiatives within the Corporate Actions domain. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, operations teams, technology teams, and project stakeholders to facilitate requirements gathering, impact assessments, solution design, testing, and implementation activities.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Corporate Actions, Securities Operations, Asset Servicing, or Custody Operations who are keen to deepen their exposure to project delivery and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders across business and operations teams.
• Collate and maintain application and system details, including data flows, interfaces, business rules, and process documentation.
• Conduct impact assessments for project initiatives and clearly document findings and assumptions.
• Partner with business users, operations teams, and technology teams to ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives and strategic data flow standards.
• Facilitate requirement walkthroughs, solution discussions, and stakeholder workshops.
• Support project managers in project planning, governance, status tracking, and change implementation activities.
• Provide day-to-day support to users by addressing business queries and promoting effective system usage.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, business solution documents, and testing documentation.
• Manage end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including: Test planning and scheduling; Test case preparation and review; Coordination of UAT execution; Defect tracking and resolution; Test result reporting and stakeholder sign-off
• Ensure project deliverables and documentation are completed in accordance with established standards and templates.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• >1 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Analyst, or Operations Analyst within the banking or financial services industry.
• Prior experience in Corporate Actions, Securities Operations, Asset Servicing, Custody Operations, or Investment Operations is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience in business requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
• Experience supporting project implementation and change initiatives within banking environments.
• Strong understanding of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Ability to analyse business processes, identify impacts, and recommend solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technology stakeholders.
• Excellent documentation and organisational skills.
