Business Analyst - Workforce Platform
About the role
We're looking for two Business Analysts to join our Product team and work directly on our core Workforce Management Platform - including our API Gateway rollout, business-specific API requirements, and third-party integration projects. You'll sit at the intersection of client needs and technical delivery, running business requirements discovery directly with customers and translating that into clear, actionable specifications our developers can build from.
This is a genuine opportunity to grow your Business Analyst career while building real technical fluency in how modern APIs, gateways, and integrations actually work - a skill set that's increasingly valuable and hard to find in BAs.
About the role
✓ Run business requirements discovery sessions directly with clients and customers to understand their needs
✓ Translate business requirements into clear user stories, wireframes, and functional
specifications
✓ Work closely with our Tech and API development team to define, document, and
deliver API requirements that meet client needs
✓ Support documentation of API capabilities, use cases, and integration requirements
for both internal and client-facing use
✓ Liaise with third-party partners on integration requirements and delivery
✓ Bridge the gap between commercial/client-facing teams and technical delivery teams
throughout the project lifecycle
✓ Contribute to the ongoing API Gateway and AI Strategy rollout from a business
analysis perspective
What we're looking for
✓ Minimum 2 years of genuine, professional Business Analyst experience — this must be real workplace experience (paid employment or contract roles). University, academic, or capstone projects do not count toward this requirement.
✓ Solid working understanding of how APIs function — including basic familiarity with API gateways, endpoints, authentication, and integration patterns
✓ Hands-on experience creating user stories, wireframes, and process flows using Figma or a similar tool
✓ Strong, proven experience running business requirements discovery directly with customers or clients
✓ Excellent stakeholder communication skills — confident working directly with both clients and technical teams
✓ A dynamic, self-starting approach and genuine enthusiasm for building a long-term career as a Business Analyst
✓ Experience within Recruitment, Staffing, or Workforce Management platforms is highly regarded, though not essential
Why this role
Real technical exposure. Hands-on exposure to technical API development concepts as part of your day-to-day work - a strong differentiator for any BA looking to deepen their technical skill set.
Client-facing, not internal-only. Work directly on live client-facing projects, not just internal initiatives.
Genuine path to permanency. Strong potential to transition to a full-time position after the initial 6-month contract, based on performance and business need.
