Role overview

The Business Development Coordinator supports Rahal’s commercial growth by coordinating supplier onboarding, managing BD operations, expanding and enhancing Rahal’s offering, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and external partners.
This role is execution-focused and designed to help the BD function move faster, stay organized, and scale efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Supply acquisition & partner enablement

  • Conduct market research to identify new supplier opportunities, service gaps, and potential new services, presenting actionable insights and recommendations to the BD manager.
  • Identify, negotiate, and onboard new supply partners, including airlines, hotel wholesalers, DMCs, visa providers, and ancillaries.
  • Coordinate with the tech team to secure B2B integrations (via GDS, NDC, direct API, or aggregators).
  • Coordinate with legal and finance teams to define and manage contracts, NDAs, and KYC requirements.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure content, pricing, and availability from partners are optimized and competitive.

Partner communication & follow-ups

  • Act as a point of contact for suppliers on operational and coordination matters.
  • Manage follow-ups with suppliers to ensure timely responses and delivery.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document MoMs with clear action items.
  • Maintain BD trackers (supplier pipeline, contract status, go-live timelines).

Performance tracking & commercial growth

  • Monitor supplier performance using key metrics such as conversion, revenue contribution, availability, and contract compliance.
  • Identify low-performing partnerships and propose optimization or replacement while assessing, filtering out, and implementing partnerships with suppliers.
  • Track the commercial impact of new integrations and strategic partnerships.
  • Coordinate with product and marketing teams and suppliers to secure tactical promotions that boost customer acquisition.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ experience in business development, commercial or operations functions
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication (fluency in both Arabic and English)
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and analytical skills
  • Growth mindset and eager to learn the travel industry
  • Highly organized, structured, and proactive, with strong research capabilities and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
