Business Development Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and analytical individual to support the development of our trade lanes and overseas agency network. The successful candidate will assist in data analysis, reporting, project coordination, and administrative support to drive operational excellence and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the development of trade lanes to enhance business opportunities.
• Assist in managing relationships with overseas offices and support the development of the Company's global agency network.
• Prepare regular reports and perform data analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve issues relating to data collation using the Company's in-house systems.
• Support departmental projects, including process improvement initiatives and business development activities.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the NVOCC, shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, good numerical aptitude, and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Resourceful, proactive, well-organised, and committed to delivering quality work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience in data analysis and reporting will be an advantage.
