About Us

Our client, a well-established Japanese company, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their growing team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to drive business growth, develop new client relationships, and manage key accounts. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in executing sales and marketing strategies while working closely with both Japanese and local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, prospect, and develop new business opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while expanding the customer base
• Respond to client enquiries and collaborate with internal teams regarding product specifications, pricing, and solutions
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender submissions
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
• Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management
• Liaise with external stakeholders and business partners to support commercial activities
• Undertake other ad hoc duties as required

Your Profile

• Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management
• Japanese language skill is ideal but not a must
• Exposure to IT products, solutions, or technology-related sales will be highly regardedStrong relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive and results-driven approach with a passion for winning new business
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset
