Business Development Manager
About the role:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager based in Paris to spearhead our growth in the French market. The ideal candidate will leverage 8–10 years of B2B sales experience, fluency in French, and strong client relationship management skills to identify new opportunities, drive revenue, and build lasting partnerships across France.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets in France
- Identify and qualify new leads through market research, networking, and referrals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions
- Report on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecast to senior management
Required qualifications:
- 8–10 years of proven B2B sales or business development experience
- Native or fluent proficiency in French and strong English communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management and negotiation
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the French market
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and networking abilities
- Experience with CRM tools and sales pipeline management
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience selling professional services or complex solutions
- Established network within key industries in France
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- Familiarity with regulatory and cultural nuances of the French business environment
- Multilingual skills beyond French and English
- Experience in international or cross-border sales initiatives
