Business Development Manager cum Inbound Manager
ALTIOS is seeking a commercially driven Business Development & Inbound Manager to support its growth in Northern Vietnam. Based in Hanoi, the role combines market development, partnership building, advisory, and project support for foreign companies entering or expanding in Vietnam. The position will focus on FDI, supply-chain relocation, industrial expansion, and the development of international SMEs and mid-cap companies in the region.
Perimeter & Volume
Target Audience: C-level executives, Operations Directors, and strategic decision makers-building executive-level relationships and tailoring communication to align priorities, investment objectives, and operational needs.
Portfolio & Network Management: Manage Northern ecosystem partners and oversee an active inbound client portfolio in Northern Vietnam, coordinating partner engagement, tracking opportunities through to advancement, and ensuring strong, ongoing support for clients as they develop and expand.

Responsibilities & Main Missions
Business Development & Ecosystem Expansion (55%)
Strategic Partnership Development: Builds trusted relationships with industrial parks, investment promotion agencies, banks, trade organizations, law firms, and other key stakeholders to generate business opportunities and strengthen ALTIOS’ presence in Northern Vietnam.
International Sales Support: Supports ALTIOS teams in China and other global offices by providing local market insights, understanding client needs, and contributing to pre-sales discussions.
Business Opportunity Development: Identifies and engages foreign companies entering or expanding in Northern Vietnam, assesses their needs, and connects them with relevant ALTIOS services.
Market Visibility: Plans and executes events, content initiatives, trade shows, and business activities to increase ALTIOS’ visibility across priority industries and business networks.
Client Advisory & Solution Delivery (35%)
Strategic Needs Assessment: Conducts discovery sessions with C-level executives and international decision-makers to understand expansion plans, operational needs, and key priorities.
Market Entry Advisory: Provides practical guidance on legal frameworks, industrial zones, logistics, labor, and regional supply-chain considerations.
Solution Design & Delivery: Develops tailored ALTIOS solutions and coordinates trusted partners across legal, tax, HR, and site development.
Account Development: Acts as the main local contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring satisfaction and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
Cross-Border Coordination: Works closely with global Outbound IBAs to share project updates, market intelligence, and identify further opportunities across the ALTIOS network.
Local Workspace Presence & Coordination (10%)
Workspace Coordination: Handles basic day-to-day logistics and local vendor management for the Hanoi workplace.
Regional Liaison: Serves as the local host and primary point of contact for visiting ALTIOS leadership, global delegates, and international clients arriving in Hanoi and surrounding industrial hubs.
Profile & Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, International Trade, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in B2B consulting, FDI advisory, business development, ecosystem management, or industrial markets in Vietnam.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with local and international partners, institutions, and business stakeholders.
Good understanding of Northern Vietnam’s industrial landscape, FDI processes, and regional supply-chain dynamics.
Experience in B2B prospecting, opportunity qualification, and needs assessment.
Skilled in consultative selling, proposal development, and commercial negotiation.
Capable of managing key accounts, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
Comfortable coordinating with global teams and supporting events, partnerships, and market visibility initiatives.
Vietnamese & English: Professional fluency required.
Mandarin Chinese: Highly preferred, particularly for Greater China and regional supply-chain initiatives.
