Purpose:
-The Business Development Representative (BDR) is an individual contributor role within the regional sales structure with direct reporting line to the Business Development Lead.
-The BDR is responsible for outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, and identifying new business opportunities across assigned regions, industries, and target accounts. The BDR works closely with Regional Sales teams, Account Executives, and Customer Facing teams to support strategic pipeline growth initiatives and generate qualified meetings and opportunities.
-The BDR is responsible for researching target accounts, identifying relevant stakeholders, and executing structured outbound outreach activities using multiple engagement channels and modern prospecting methodologies.
-The outcome of the BDR role is generating high-quality meetings, sales opportunities, pipeline contribution, and supporting regional growth objectives through proactive business development activities.
-The BDR role is also designed as a key talent development position within the commercial organization, preparing employees for future progression into Mid-Market and Tier 1 Customer Facing roles.
Main Responsibilities:
Execute outbound prospecting activities across assigned regions, industries, and target accounts
Identify and engage prospective customers using email, phone, LinkedIn, and other digital outreach channels
Research target accounts, customer segments, industries, and buying personas to identify new business opportunities
Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for Customer Facing teams and Account Executives
Work closely with Regional Sales teams and Customer Facing teams to support pipeline generation initiatives and strategic growth priorities
Support industry, squad, and regional pipeline generation campaigns and initiatives
Maintain outreach sequences and prospect engagement activities using approved tools and methodologies
Use best-in-class prospecting and research tools to identify relevant contacts, validate information, and enrich account data
Maintain accurate prospect, account, and activity data within Salesforce and outreach platforms
Follow qualification standards and outreach best practices to ensure high-quality pipeline generation
Build and maintain knowledge of Infobip solutions, products, industries, and customer use cases
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Customer Facing teams to improve outreach effectiveness and conversion rates
Provide ongoing market feedback and prospect insights to support continuous process and messaging optimization
Utilize AI tools and automation to improve prospect research, outreach preparation, productivity, and engagement quality
Participate in onboarding, coaching, enablement, and continuous learning initiatives
Accept feedback, coaching, and training to support continuous professional development and career progression.
