POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of sales, the Government Business Development Representative will work side by side with the Government Sales team to identify, pursue, and secure business opportunities within government markets. This role requires a strong understanding of the government procurement process, relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex proposals and contract negotiations.

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities with the government space.
· Build and maintain relationships with government decision-makers, procurement officers, and key stakeholders.
· Monitor government solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) and respond to opportunities in alignment with company capabilities.
· Lead or contribute to the preparation of proposals, bids, and presentations.
· Collaborate with internal teams including legal, finance, and operations to ensure successful proposal submissions and project execution.
· Track and report pipeline development, proposal status, and win/loss outcomes.
· Stay updated on government regulations, policies, and trends that may impact business opportunities.
· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities relevant to public sector engagement.
