Business Intelligence Analyst
Summary
BI Analyst partnering with stakeholders to design AI-enhanced Tableau dashboards on Snowflake/Cortex, build Customer Experience analytics, and automate BI workflows with SQL, Python, and AI coding assistants (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor).
We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will partner with business stakeholders and functional teams to turn metrics into clear BI requirements, dashboards, and reports — with AI woven into every part of the workflow, from requirement gathering to dashboard build to automation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner with Business Stakeholders and Functional Teams — Work across teams to understand metrics and document clear business requirements for BI analyses, reports, and dashboards. Use AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to speed up requirement gathering, summarize stakeholder inputs, and draft documentation. Ensure solutions address stakeholder needs while maintaining strong alignment with organizational priorities.
- Design Interactive Data Visualizations, AI-Enhanced — Build interactive, visually impactful dashboards using Tableau, enhanced with AI-powered insights (trend detection, anomaly flags, natural language summaries). Efficiently source, structure, and process large datasets using Snowflake / Snowflake Cortex, using AI/scripting to speed up data prep. Design dashboards that surface AI-generated insights alongside standard metrics, enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
- Drive BI Process Automation with AI — Automate and scale BI workflows using Python, SQL, and AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code) to write, debug, and optimize scripts faster. Explore agentic workflows to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy/repeatability in recurring reporting tasks.
- Promote AI-Forward Best Practices in Analytics — Advocate for and implement documented guidelines and standard procedures for AI-assisted BI automation and dashboard development. Share prompting techniques, AI tool usage, and automation methods that support scalable, robust analytics solutions.
- Contribute to CX BI Principles — Participate in development and refinement of Customer Experience (CX) BI frameworks, bringing AI-driven insights — patterns, sentiment, and emerging issues — into initiative design and ongoing improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work closely with IT, engineering, and business teams through regular planning meetings to ensure BI and AI-enabled solutions are integrated with broader organizational goals, scalable, and aligned with enterprise objectives.
- Lead AI/ML Adoption in BI Initiatives — Apply AI/ML techniques and AI-powered features within BI tools (Tableau AI, Snowflake Cortex, etc.) to enhance data analysis, uncover trends, and automate insight generation. Actively pilot new AI capabilities in analytics — this is now a core expectation, not a side interest.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 4+ years of data analytics or BI experience, including using AI tools to boost analytics productivity, with demonstrated ability to work with large datasets, automation tools, and BI reporting platforms.
- Proficiency in developing interactive dashboards and visuals in Tableau (Must Have) and managing/integrating data using Snowflake / Snowflake Cortex (Must Have).
- Expertise in SQL and Python for automating, scaling, and optimizing BI workflows (Must Have) — comfort with Snowflake Cortex and AI coding assistants (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, math, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical work experience.
- Hands-on use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) for analytics, reporting, or automation — preferred, heavily weighted.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office / Google Sheets / Google Slides.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, and to collaborate on cross-functional teams to deliver analytics solutions.
- Proven track record of managing multiple analytics projects simultaneously, delivering work on time, and maintaining data quality and accuracy.
NICE TO HAVE
- Tableau Desktop Certified Associate Certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce reporting modules.
- Experience working as a Business Intelligence Analyst in a technical support environment.
- Genuine curiosity about AI/ML and how it reshapes BI work — this role expects you to keep pushing AI into the workflow, not just use it when convenient.
