Business IT Systems Analyst
About the role
Ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of IT systems and applications through proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and ongoing maintenance. The role supports business operations by managing system upgrades, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and delivering reliable IT solutions that meet organizational needs. It also contributes to the successful delivery of IT projects, effective coordination across technical teams, and consistent communication with stakeholders, while maintaining a strong focus on service quality and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Analyze software and hardware problems and coordinate effective, practical solutions
- Perform system software upgrades, including planning, scheduling, testing, and coordination
- Ensure availability and reliability of systems and application environments through proactive and reactive maintenance
- Ensure adherence to corporate and divisional policies, standards, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all relevant governmental and regulatory requirements
- Ensure IT applications effectively meet organizational needs
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and external stakeholders on matters related to IT applications
- Work effectively in a team environment that includes both infrastructure and application specialists
- Successfully execute IT projects deployed locally or initiated by corporate groups
About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position
- Understanding of GAMP 5 or SQA (Software Quality Assurance) or equivalent knowledge
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to translate technical information into basic understanding, and the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with a diversity of people at an individual and team level
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrates strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
