C++ Software Engineer - Benelux
We’re looking for driven software engineers who are excited about building scalable, high-performance C++ applications and making a measurable impact in the clean energy transition. If you’re passionate about system reliability, clean architecture, and modern C++ engineering, read on.
What You’ll Do
What You’ll Do
- Solve What Matters: Break down intricate low-level challenges to deliver clean, rock-solid software that runs directly on embedded Linux devices in the field.
- Build and Scale: Design, build, and maintain cross-platform C++ SDK components, libraries, and internal APIs that power our EV charging and energy systems.
- Optimize Everything: Continuously push the limits of performance, memory usage, and reliability across embedded Linux environments.
- Master Concurrency: Implement efficient, multi-threaded software and data processing pipelines with proper synchronization and thread safety.
- Own It in Production: Take pride in delivering production-quality, well-tested code—from initial design and gTest/gMock suites to live deployment and continuous improvement.
- C++ Expertise: 3+ years of professional C++ experience (C++11/14/17/20) with a passion for clean, performant, and type-safe code.
- Systems Intuition: Strong grasp of memory management (RAII, smart pointers, move semantics), STL, template programming, and software design patterns.
- Embedded & Linux: Experience developing on embedded Linux environments, using standard toolchains (CMake, GCC/Clang, GDB), and runtime sanitizers (ASan, TSan).
- Concurrency & Control: Proven experience with multithreading, synchronization primitives, and low-level resource handling.
- Engineering Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to thrive independently in a high-ownership environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Domain Plus: Background in Linux system programming, IPC, sockets, networking protocols (MQTT, TCP/IP, WebSockets), EV charging, IoT, or energy systems is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Competitive salary and performance-based KPI bonuses.
- Global engineering culture with cross-border collaboration and opportunities to visit international R&D facilities.
- Technical growth, training opportunities, and hands-on exposure to cutting-edge energy infrastructure.
